Queen Zeena, though not really a queen, is the most popular and mysterious figure on Arthropoda. Part spiritual guide, part pop star, she tours with her band, led by Chi Chi "The Music Never Stops" Cicada, and her backup singers, The Mayfly Girls. Her concert appearances generally are unannounced, but thanks to the hive mind, Mansects know instinctively when she's planning a public appearance. Queen Zeena's music is wildly popular and has an empathic, uplifting effect on her thousands of adoring fans. Yet her music is only one part of her appeal, for no one knows when or where she'll mysteriously appear to act as advisor or spirit guide for Mansects in need. Her mystery is only deepened by the fact that she never seems to age. In fact, she is known to have been on the last transport from Earth when Mansects were booted off their home planet forty-five years ago, and she looks exactly the same today as she did then.
